Responsible for performing a variety of functions dedicated to improving the team member experience. The HR Support Services Representative contributes to a positive experience by answering and escalating HR concerns from team members, troubleshooting and resolving issues and collaborating with business partners throughout the company to provide best in class service. Works regularly with confidential information and has access to wage, health and personal information and follows established guidelines to maintains appropriate documentation of all conversations and activity while protecting information. Collaborates with other members of the HR Support Services and Operations teams to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy for each task completed. * Hybrid position at corporate office Monday-Wednesday onsite and Thursday-Friday remote. Schedule flexibility needed including Saturdays and/or extended hours in the evening as needed. * What You'll be Doing: Provide concierge style service in daily communication with team members and leadership regarding transactional HR needs escalating to appropriate centers of excellence as required. Provide direction and resolution on all incoming HR tasks and activities to meet the needs of team members and leaders with a high level of customer service. Collaborates with direct team and business partners to drive service excellence. Perform on-going analysis to identify opportunities to increase operational effectiveness, recommend modifications and process improvements. Identify educational opportunities regarding systems and processes across the business, making recommendations to close any gaps. Act as a liaison between Meijer and designated vendor partners and extended Meijer Companies to ensure successful collaboration and positive results Demonstrate a strong customer service orientation and takes responsibility to ensure team members and those supporting team members are satisfied. Performs all procedures accurately, including following documented call flows, work processes, data entry requirements, and complaint management processes. Strong understanding of the HCM system, benefit, compensation, and absence programs, including working with vendors and Meijer IT team. Develop and maintain a skill set to be the Subject Matter Expert in the designated functions supported by HR Support Services. What You Bring with You (Qualifications) High School graduate or equivalent is required. 2+ years of HR, Contact Center or similar experience is required Ability to understand the scope of an issue or situation and apply proper problem-solving techniques to appropriately resolve and communicate the outcome High level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment Excellent communication skills and the ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form Experience with HRIS platforms, CRM systems and various other technology Ability to handle sensitive or privileged information with absolute confidentiality Ability to work well within and support a team environment and shared responsibilities We opened our doors more than 90 years ago with the goal of helping people provide for themselves and their family.
