And when they do, our claims department is right there, investigating and evaluating claims: and then negotiating settlements that are fair to our customers and our company.  As an Inside Home Property Adjuster, you will conduct investigations over the phone of various property claims perils, from water, to wind and hail losses, to complex fire claims, and everything in between.  You will determine coverage by applying provisions of policy contracts in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality procedures.  You will leverage your own investigation and technical skills, our vendors, our customers, and their representatives, to review photographs, inspection reports, obtain police or fire reports and other statements, and ensure that we provide a fair and accurate settlement within the confines of the policy.  Use your people skills and business smarts to provide excellent customer service by communicating with policyholders, claimants, their representatives and vendors to promptly resolve problems.<br><br></span></p> <br><strong>Qualifications</strong><br><br><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">We seek candidates with:</span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">Home Property claims adjusting experience <strong>(2+ years required or 1+ year with related exp).</strong></span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">Drive and determination to produce an outstanding work product and to provide the high level of customer service we promise to our policyholders.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">Knowledge of insurance coverage, insurance law, DOI regulations, structural estimates, repair costs and homeowner insurance concepts.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">Experience using Xactimate <strong>(required).</strong></span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">Excellent verbal/written communication skills and sound judgment</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">A strong sense of organization to keep you on top of the incoming claim volume, calls, mail and demands of the role.  </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">High School diploma (some college preferred)</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">Ability to meet state licensing requirements</span></li></ul><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"><strong><em>Preferred hiring/work states include Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Missouri, or Texas.</em> </strong></span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">The salary range is $58,926–$88,421.  Actual compensation will be based on job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
