This role will have occasional on site expectations. • Job Responsibilities • Perform verification on orders that are selected for review to ensure validity • Perform research using online search tools and by contacting customers and banks to verify information • Provide customer service to customers who respond to contacts made by the Fraud Prevention Team • Attempt to stop any approved fraud orders found by calls or linking orders by contacting the warehouses or carriers which ever applies. • Work closely with Team Lead and Managers to help identify and stop new fraud trends • Work closely with the Customer Care department to ensure customer satisfaction for all legitimate Overstock.com customers • Perform other duties as required and assigned by manager and upper management. • Follow legal policies as directed. • Job Requirements​ • Strong analytical background • Detail Orientated ​​ • Must possess strong internet research skills along with the ability to navigate multiple systems at once • Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to be professionally persistent over the phone • Previous fraud prevention, finance, or customer service experience preferred • Proficient in MS Office Suite and proficient at typing • Be organized, show attention to detail and perform well in a fast-paced environment • Ability to adjust schedule to the seasonal demands of the retail industry and be flexible to overtime during peak season • Pass a criminal and financial background check • Skills • * Financial Analysis • Microsoft Office • Research Analysis • Customer Relationship Managment • Education​ • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.​ Physical Requirements ​ This position requires the incumbent to sit, stand and perform general office functions.
