Maintains the license to operate for the site or hub. Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines. Responsibilities Leads implementation of global environmental management systems. Leads environmental performance improvement as it pertains to solid waste and wastewater management. Coordinates, implements, and optimizes environmental programs and compliance programs across site/hub. Participates in incident investigations and the corrective action process for environmental issues and opportunities. Performs central review of all waste and wastewater related documents and submittals to ensure consistency and compliance goals are met. Performs Requirements Management Work Process (RWMP) roles as needed. Initiates and supports MOCs for EH&S programs and compliance matters as necessary. Acts as Agency Visit protocol owner and implementer. Manages permits including submittal of permit applications for new and modified equipment, requests for permit changes, and submittal of permit renewal applications. Coaches, trains, and mentors EH&S technicians. Performs site or plant gap assessments around EH&S work process implementation. Develops, reviews, monitors, creates and deliver training as appropriate. Qualifications A minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant. A minimum of 6 years EH&S, manufacturing or related experience. Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card. A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process. Preferred Qualifications Experience with environmental compliance/permit application and implementation. Waste and Wastewater operational experience. Your Skills Regulatory Compliance: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and applying those regulations in a chemical manufacturing facility. Group Problem Solving: Working within a team as a subject matter expert while utilizing the group's individual strengths and knowledge to solve problems or resolve issues. Communication: Strategic communication management is the control of communication in and out of an organization to promote the clear exchange of information and ideas. Building Trust: Building trust involves developing trust between people so that they can work more effectively. Accountability: Accountability is the acknowledgment and assumption of responsibility for actions, products, decisions, and policies including the administration, governance, and implementation within the scope of the role Critical Thinking: Critical thinking is the evaluation of facts to form a judgment by using the rational, data-based analysis of factual evidence. Cross-Functional Work: Working across teams including the Natural Work Team, Operations Team, Tech Center, Regulatory Services, and Legal Team to achieve business results.
