  • *Role And Responsibilities**
Samsung is seeking a dynamic, disciplined, resilient and results-oriented Education Account Executive to support end user customer engagements in partnership with CDW, one of Samsung’s most critical channel partners in the US enterprise market. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in the education vertical, strong sales acumen, and a proven ability to drive exponential growth.

The role will be a market business leader driving educational and mission-oriented Display solutions to meet client requirements in a dynamic environment. The role will focus on maintaining and growing business and ensures an excellent client experience at all times. The role will be key in the development of near-term and long-term solution and GTM strategies, execution of multiple marketing approaches and collaboration on product and technical roadmaps.

While this is remote, the ideal candidate will be in Chicago, IL or Shelton, CT.

  • *Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Account Management: Serve as primary Education Account Executive contact for CDW end user customer engagements. Drive sales and manage end user relationships within the education vertical focused on K12 and Higher Education accounts.
  • Sales Management: Grow revenue of our B2B display portfolio including interactive displays, digital signage, direct view LED, desktop monitors, and display software and solutions.
  • Revenue Growth: Own and exceed education vertical revenue and profitability targets for the CDW account through effective sales planning, pipeline management, and forecast accuracy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Samsung product teams, marketing, operations, supply chain, and finance to enable seamless customer experiences, provide voice of customer, and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Field Engagement: Partner with CDW inside and field sales teams to drive co-selling initiatives and end-user engagement.
  • Lead/support joint business planning sessions, QBRs, and other strategic meetings to drive mutual growth and success.
  • Analyze sell-through performance, identify gaps or opportunities, monitor market trends, competitor activities, and use data-driven insights to align strategy and execution.

  • *Skills And Qualifications
  • The Ideal candidate will reside in Chicago, Illinois
  • Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of demonstrated successful experience in strategic account management
  • Strong knowledge or background in selling into K12 and Higher Education
  • Must possess a strong knowledge of interactive flat panel/display technology and solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Experience using CRM software (Salesforce.com preferred)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and experience in development and delivery of presentation materials
  • Ability to independently plan, organize and prioritize multiple sales, project and performance objectives
  • *Preferred:
  • Strong understanding of the innerworkings of the CDW ecosystem
  • *Physical/Travel Requirements:
  • Presence at CDW Offices 60% of the time (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or as needed) – Primary Location is Chicago, IL.
  • Ability to travel within the US up to 70% of the time to support education customers and national/regional tradeshows
