The Diagnostic Sales Specialist will have a keen understanding of the market dynamics and areas for growth, an awareness and familiarity of the needs of the customer, and knowledge of Cytiva's diagnostic product portfolio offerings. </p><p></p><p>This position is part of the Diagnostics commercial team within the Discovery and Medical OpCo and will be <b>fully remote in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast geography</b>. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. </p><p>#LI-MH3</p><p></p><p><b>In this role, you will have the opportunity to:</b></p><div><ul><li>Serve as the primary Cytiva solutions provider for all diagnostic application needs within the assigned territory, representing the company with professionalism and deep customer understanding.</li><li>Develop and execute a strategic territory plan in partnership with Cytiva colleagues and distribution partners to drive annual account growth and expand market presence.</li><li>Own accurate and timely sales forecasting and pipeline management in CRM while achieving quarterly and annual operating plans and driving customer satisfaction and retention.</li><li>Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including marketing‑generated leads, while leading pricing negotiations and supporting complex, strategic deal development.</li><li>Collaborate closely with customer R&D and technical teams, alongside internal R&D, FAS, and Product partners, to deliver optimal solutions that accelerate customer success.</li></ul></div><p>​</p><p><b>The essential requirements of the job include:</b></p><ul><li>A bachelor’s degree in the Life Sciences field, in biology, biochemistry, immunology, or molecular biology.</li><li>5+ years of commercial experience, preferably in the Life Sciences industry. Experience with magnetic beads, lateral flow, membrane-based applications, or Next Generation Sequencing. </li><li>Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders & to work collaboratively across functions and geographies to drive execution.  </li><li>Good analytical skills as well as experience with sales tools such as Saleforce.com.  </li><li>Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to present technical presentations and training.
