The Diagnostic System Specialist is responsible for installing and training clients on clinical diagnostic products, including system operation, troubleshooting, theory, result interpretation, and laboratory statistics. This role coordinates installations with sales, customers, and the Installation Coordinator, while managing IQ, OQ, and PQ activities for new product setups. The Specialist develops validation protocols, analyzes data, and resolves technical issues to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Additional responsibilities include creating process documentation, conducting user training, testing system functionality, and supporting medical correlation studies. The position requires strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as the ability to train customer staff at all levels and manage complex products.<br><br>Travel up to 80% by air is required.<br><br><strong>How You’ll Make An Impact<br><br></strong><ul><li>Interacts with: Technical Service personnel, Field Service personnel, Sales and Marketing departments, Customer Services and distribution within the company, as well as customers.</li><li>Responsible for the Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ) and Performance Qualification (PQ).</li><li>Performs and supports system demonstrations, evaluations and correlations as required, in house and / or at customer site.</li><li>Develops, coordinates and execute customer trainings for designated Bio-Rad Laboratories instruments and products as required. Provides post-installation and post-training follow-ups.</li><li>Identify trends and performs system/product failure analysis and escalation when applicable.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Bring<br><br></strong><ul><li>Education: Successful completion of a University degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related degree in the Medical Laboratory field.</li><li>Work Experience: Experience with bioanalytical techniques such as HPLC and/or enzymatic assays will be considered an asset.</li><li>Relevant work experience in a clinical diagnostic laboratory or company.</li><li>Experience with designing, setting-up and optimizing assays/experiments in a clinical setting.</li><li>Spanish language proficiency is an asset.</li><li>Travelling flexibility required (about 80%) <br><br></li></ul><strong>Location: </strong>Bio-Rad is pleased to offer the flexibility of Remote Work for this role anywhere in the U.S.<br><br><strong>Total Rewards Package: </strong>At Bio-Rad, we’re empowered by our purpose and recognize that our employees are as well. This range is inclusive of all geographic locations within the United States*. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of an offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.<br><br><ul><li>Minimum reflects our lowest paying locations, and the top end reflects our highest paying locations.
