Content Creator (Full-Time) – On-Camera + Production (Instagram & TikTok)

Location: Los Angeles, CA (On-site; Downtown LA)
Type: Full-time only

About the Role

KOLLAB is hiring a full-time Content Creator to lead our short-form video production for Instagram and TikTok. This role is for someone who can plan, shoot, and deliver content consistently—and is comfortable appearing on camera when needed. You will also help source and coordinate talent/creators for content shoots.

Responsibilities

  • Own KOLLAB’s short-form content pipeline: ideation → planning → filming → delivery
  • Create weekly/monthly content plans tied to store moments, product drops, vendor features, and events
  • Film high-quality short-form content on-site (Reels/TikTok): product storytelling, BTS, event recaps, interviews, trending formats
  • Appear on camera as needed (host-style, product demo, POV storytelling, interviews)
  • Source and coordinate talent (creators/models/UGC talent): outreach, scheduling, shoot prep, and direction
  • Direct shoots: shot lists, lighting basics, framing, audio, and set readiness
  • Collaborate with internal editors or (if applicable) edit to match platform-native pacing and trends
  • Track and improve performance (watch time, saves, shares, CTR) and iterate content strategy accordingly

Required Qualifications (Must Have)

  • Full-time availability (this is not a part-time/contract role)
  • Proven experience in photo/video production (portfolio required)
  • Must show prior work you shot (brand, creator, commercial, event, or product content)
  • Strong understanding of TikTok + Instagram Reels trends, hooks, and storytelling
  • Confident communicating with talent and giving clear creative direction
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail/event environment and filming on-site regularly

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Editing experience (CapCut / Premiere / Final Cut)
  • Experience with lifestyle/beauty/retail/event content
  • Basic lighting/audio knowledge (lav mic, simple key light setups)
  • Bilingual (Korean/English) is a plus

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent weekly output of high-performing Reels/TikToks
  • Strong on-camera presence and brand voice alignment
  • Reliable production process + strong collaboration with internal teams
  • Improved KPIs over time (retention, saves, shares, TikTok Shop/website clicks)

How to Apply: Please submit your resume + portfolio links (IG/TikTok/Drive/Website). Applications without a portfolio may not be considered.
