Job Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented DC/DB Combo Plan Administrator to manage the administration and compliance of defined contribution (DC) and defined benefit (DB) retirement plans. The ideal candidate will have experience in retirement plan management, a strong understanding of DC and DB regulations, and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day administration of DC and DB retirement plans for multiple clients.
  • Process contributions, distributions, loans, and withdrawals accurately and on time.
  • Conduct annual compliance testing for DC and DB plans, including ADP/ACP, top-heavy, nondiscrimination, and 410(b) limits.
  • Prepare and review IRS Form 5500 filings, ensuring ERISA and IRS compliance.
  • Communicate with plan participants to provide support and information.
  • Review plan documents for compliance with current regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry changes to advise clients and ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) or similar certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in retirement plan administration. Experience at a TPA is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.
  • Proficiency with Relius, Datair, Ft Williams, or ASC, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
