Has a thorough knowledge of nursing, pharmacy, and materials management practice/workflows, and BD’s medication management dispensing, infusion, and supply solutions. </li><li>Expertly performs complex customer current state assessment and creates a compelling future state business case to meet customer’s strategic objectives/vision.</li><li>Effectively communicates and collaborates with stakeholders (internal and external) to drive alignment on recommendations and proposed solutions. Possesses dynamic presentation skills and excellent business writing skills.</li><li>Demonstrates leadership by being customer focused</li></ul><ul><li>Displays strategic thinking, having a global and company mindset, focusing on results, skill growth, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Strategically works with sales and customer service organization to prioritize activities.</li><li>Handles multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizes tasks based on organizational need and judgment, and is productive working independently in remote office situations.</li><li>Exhibits a bias toward action, is self-motivated, and a self-starter.</li><li>Mentors internal staff regarding best demonstrated practices.</li></ul>Accountabilities<ul><li>Provides sales consultation and workflow analysis of existing processes within the medication management and supply chain systems. Identifies current areas of inefficiencies, patient/provider safety concerns, revenue augmentation, cost reduction, regulatory non-compliance, and drug diversion opportunities. Performs workflow redesign with practice change recommendations and accompanying BD solutions to facilitate achievement of best practices and customer strategic goals.</li><li>Provides clinical consulting support primarily for sales to develop customer specific strategic BD solution roadmaps.</li><li>Collaborates and builds synergistic relationships with all members of the Sales team, Marketing, Product Research and Development teams, Interface Teams, Implementation & Support teams, Customer Advocacy, and Training.</li><li>Stays active and engaged with important healthcare related organizations to stay abreast of healthcare trends and changes in Pharmacy/Nursing practice that impact our business or customers. Acts as a thought leader to readily share healthcare knowledge with internal and external customers.</li><li>Functions as the voice of the Customer and stays engaged with the customer throughout the sales process lifecycle- supporting key post sale engagements as part of the partnership strategy</li><li>Utilizes up-to-date knowledge of the healthcare industry to provide clinical input for new product development and software enhancements.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required; </li><li>Current licensure as a Registered Pharmacist required. </li><li>5-10 years of experience in an acute care hospital environment required. </li><li>3 to 5 years of experience with pharmacy operations automation and medication automated dispensing cabinets. </li><li>3 -5 years of hospital departmental management/leadership experience preferred. </li><li>Valid driver’s license and clean driving record</li><li>Up to 75% travel required, including nights and some weekends</li></ul>Additional Qualifications<ul><li>Medication automated dispensing cabinets preferred</li><li>Supply automation solutions </li><li>Procedural areas </li></ul>Preferred Experiences<ul><li>Managing IV compounding room </li><li>Ensuring regulatory compliance </li><li>Overseeing patient safety systems</li><li>Managing financial and formulary challenges </li></ul>At BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
