Core Responsibilities

The Associate Tech Service Specialist is an independent and dedicated player in their own field, providing advice and solutions to complex IT incidents and problems. Considered as an asset in a service product, being able to solve a wide variety of complex issues while shifting focus from being reactive to becoming proactive.

  • Actively contributes to tasks in the Service Product that focus on removal of waste, self-service, automation, e.g. correct ticket routing.
  • Sharing knowledge and information, seeks to apply standard processes.
  • Takes ownership of tasks prioritized in the Service Product.
  • Takes a data driven approach when working on initiatives.
  • Proactively ensure IT Policies and Principles are being followed on the site.

Do you have what it takes?

Passion for computer infrastructure, especially virtual environment (network, computers, etc.) and more years of experience is fundamental here. With understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and databases. The strong candidate will have proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues related to computer hardware and software and are eager to get things done.

  • Ability to rapidly acquire new knowledge and skills, adapting to changing environments and technologies.
  • Competence in analyzing and interpreting data to drive decision-making and improve processes.

As a person, we expect the candidate to have a service approach and to be organized, like to get along with various people and be a problem solver for them. Strive to strength already existing IT fix skills and continuously think about how we succeed as a team. Also, to fit into our outstanding team, the preferred candidate should naturally bring a positive can-do-mindset and strong analytical skills to identify problems and develop innovative solutions.

To succeed in this role, you ideally already have experience with some of the following:

  • Experience using ITSM tools to handle and optimize IT services. Familiarity with platforms such as ServiceNow, or Jira to track incidents, handle workflows, and improve service delivery.
  • Knowledge and expertise in Microsoft operating systems, including Windows 10 and 11. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and services like Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
  • Comfortable working with Apple operating systems, including MacOS for desktops and iOS for mobile devices.
  • Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless technologies.
  • Experience using platforms that allow for rapid application development with minimal coding, such as Microsoft PowerApps.
  • Experience working in agile environments, using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of 76.283,00 $ - 114.425,00 $ based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
