<p>The details for the selected vacancy are shown below.</p><p>Assistant, 14-16 Provision SOUTHEND CAMPUSApproximately 21 hours per week – term time only, (Hourly Paid)South Essex Colleges Group (SECG) is the largest provider of technical and vocational education and training for 16–18-year-olds, adults and apprenticeship provision within Essex – and we are growing!We are looking for an enthusiastic person as an assistant at our Southend City College which is part of South Essex Colleges Group to support our Pre 16, home educated learners who have come to the college for part of their home education due to struggling with mainstream school.The right candidate will be is caring and empathic you will support tutors and students throughout their teaching day and will supervise the students during the lunch and breaks. You will be required to implement the behaviour policy, ensuring the security, safety, welfare and good conduct of learners within your care.The right candidate will have experience in working with 14-16 year olds is desirable, along with good level of communication and skills along with excellent organisational and administrative skills, recognise behaviour giving cause for concern.If this is you, we would love to hear from you and be part of this rewarding team.Under the Health & Safety etc. at Work Act 1974 it is the responsibility of individual employees at every level to take care of their own health and safety at work and that of others who may be affected by their acts at work.The College is committed to the safeguarding of all its students, staff and visitors and provides a safe physical environment.
