Job DetailsJob Location: REMOTE US - Kansas City, MO 64120Position Type: Full TimeJob Category: SalesJOB SUMMARY: The main responsibility of the Account Manager is to establish and maintain the relationship between the client and Supplylogic through many areas of the account. Initiate the concepts of design & creative, while finalizing the complete production of projects from the beginning stages throughout the completion. Managing the national accounts through a consistent presence at the various customer locations, as well as the ongoing quality control measures at our supply-chain partners manufacturing facilities.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Understands and supports the Account Executive with all projects and services available through Supplylogic. Assumes full responsibility for assigned customer accounts Independently performs the functions of an Account Manager with no guidance from the Account Executive Must have a proven track record for clearing up discrepancies in a timely manner, keeping the open order report clean, consistently calls on client to maintain a proactive and productive workflow Initiates contact and consults with customers concerning their needs and the benefits of the services we provide Confers with customers to verify service satisfaction. Empowered to resolve customer complaints or other concerns Uses independent judgment to develop specs, compute and quote customer specific pricing, orders for new and current client needs Reviews past orders and current accounts to generate ideas for expanding services to client. Looks for ways to increase profitability on orders and implements them after coordinating with the Account Executive Establishes payment schedules with client. Confers with other company personnel to convey clients needs and monitors the progress of meeting such needs. Investigates potential new vendors, and adheres to Supplylogic preferred vendor list Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, tours, and reviewing professional publications. Up-to-date knowledge on our supply-chains new equipment within our preferred partner network is necessary.
