The FSS Billing Analyst plays a critical role in supporting accurate and timely billing for Kelly's customers across North America, including the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. This position operates within the Global Financial & Business Solutions (GFBS) organization and requires a self-directed professional who can manage complex billing accounts, resolve customer issues, and drive process improvements. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external customers at all levels to ensure billing accuracy, protect receivables, and deliver a positive customer experience.

Our FSS Billing Analyst is accountable for:

Billing Accuracy & Account Management

  • Audit, edit, and process assigned accounts - including strategic, complex, and high-visibility accounts - within billing cycle deadlines
  • Independently prioritize accounts by invoice volume, urgency, and potential impact on receivables collection
  • Accept, reject, and process incoming billing adjustments to resolve customer errors and meet department objectives
Customer & Stakeholder Communication
  • Communicate directly with internal and external customers at all levels to identify and resolve billing issues
  • Facilitate meetings with appropriate organizational stakeholders to drive favorable resolutions while maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Respond timely to customer and branch requests and escalate issues appropriately
Problem Analysis & Resolution
  • Research and resolve in-depth billing and business process issues with measurable, positive financial outcomes
  • Determine action to resolve unmatched pay and bill code transactions
  • Apply sound judgment to weigh risks and benefits while developing resolution plans
Process Improvement & Documentation
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to management where efficiencies can be gained without negatively impacting customers
  • Validate, update, and maintain accurate procedural documentation and account instructions
  • Assist with training on best practices, new procedures, and new accounts as directed by management
Collaboration & Project Support
  • Support special projects as defined by management and contribute to department-wide initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across multiple grade levels to ensure job requirements are met or exceeded
Essential Skills, Knowledge, & Experience:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, billing, accounts receivable, payroll, or a related field; high-volume, high-dollar billing/collections experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
  • Proven ability to analyze data, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; comfortable with technology and general computer systems
  • Basic understanding of accounts receivable, payroll, billing, and SSPA or VMS systems preferred
  • Demonstrated adaptability, initiative, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving


Base pay rate for this position is $25 - $30/hr. Final hourly compensation will be based on experience and may vary by geographic location.
